Imagine that Don had to work on Saturday so Quinn and I headed to Imagine That! Yes, Imagine That is an indoor kids play area with lots of rooms with different themes. It\’s similar to, but not as good as, ones that we\’ve been to in Chicago and Seattle. I had a discounted admission through Groupon so it was quite a deal and the weather was warm so it wasn\’t very crowded. Most importantly Quinn had a great time.
Quinn wrote his name on the chalkboard today!
We were having breakfast and he got up to go write on the chalkboard. I asked him if he could write his name — not sure why I asked him that. I asked him to verbally spell it, which he did, than I asked him to write each letter. He\’s had the Q down for quite some time but we have never seen him write another letter. And then Voila! there\’s a U. The I was pretty easy. And then 2 N\’s (kind of). Wow! He was pretty pleased with himself too, as he should be.
He had just finished his breakfast which consisted of banana pancakes and hot chocolate. Can you tell?
Quinn and I went to visit our friends Erin, Teddy, and baby Ansel on Tuesday afternoon after school. Teddy is about a month younger than Quinn and is very sweet little boy. It\’s funny because Quinn is so much bigger than Teddy in every way but Teddy\’s verbal skills are beyond advanced and he\’s a very thoughtful little guy. You know how brilliant we think our boy is but he sounds a little bit like a caveman next to Teddy. Quinn is still the most perfect little boy!
We had a little bit of nice weather so we headed outside to walk down to the playground. Quinn wanted to climb in this tree as soon as he laid eyes on it.
Erin had some yellow crocuses coming up in her yard. Here are the boys giving them a closer look (my focus is off, but the picture is too cute).
