Sunset at Zuma Beach

After dinner on Monday night we drove down to Zuma Beach.  Right now there is a \’red tide\’ that causes bioluminescence at night — it looks like the waves are glowing blue.  We weren\’t at the right place at the right time but it was still nice to be out, breathe some ocean air, and catch the end of the sunset.

Quinn loves a Tofu Scramble.  It\’s just cut up tofu sautéed in olive oil and sprinkled with Nutritional Yeast which has a cheesy flavor.  Before the lockdown I bought a bunch of the tofu that he likes and froze it.  But when you freeze it the texture changes and Q is very particular about his tofu.  He didn\’t appreciate the new texture.  So I ordered some more with my grocery order but they didn\’t have the brand that he likes and the new brand failed the Q tofu test.  When I asked him how he liked it, he said \”It wasn\’t great\”.  
Getting out after lunch and all the school work is completed.  But it\’s starting to get hot here!

Doing a virtual meeting with his Odyssey team.  They still meet every Monday during lunch.
A special delivery makes us very happy.  I got a tip from a friend that Walmart online was stocked up!

Mother\’s Day and 20 Years!

We had a quiet day at home for Mother\’s Day.  We ordered PF Chang\’s for dinner.  A good day with my guys.

And then 3 days later Don and I celebrated our 20th Wedding Anniversary.  I never would have imagined celebrating in quarantine but we made the best of it.  Don had a busy work day on Wednesday but we finished off the day with a little champagne, dinner from a fancy restaurant, and a float in the pool.  Love my guy.
Don took off work on Thursday.  We had a good day with a hike, float in the pool, and Super Mario Brothers.  

We went on a flat hikea since it was warm out and I think everyone else had the same idea.  About a mile in you can take a trail down to a stream which Sonic always enjoys.  But there were so many people down there.  We had our masks in our pockets just in case and Quinn put his on.
