Sunday Concert
To round out our music filled weekend, we took a group of kids to see a concert by New West Symphony. They are required to see one concert per quarter and write a 2 page paper for band class. It’s due at the end of October so we wanted to give them a little time to work on it. 1 – kids waiting for the show to begin, 2 – bad angle for 4 blonde moms, 3 – teen selfie.

Sounds of Conejo
The Thousand Oaks High School (TOHS) holds an annual exhibition with the local high school marching bands. It’s a chance for the high schools to perform their show without the pressure of competition. This year there were 11 high schools participating, including Westlake.
