Barb celebrated a big birthday over the weekend. We started the celebration with lunch at Malibu seafood and then spent a lovely afternoon on Zuma Beach. Quinn had marching band practice all day so it was just the 3 of us.

We had a nice family celebration at home Saturday evening ending with one of Barb’s favorite cakes from Carrara’s bakery.

On Sunday we celebrated out at Mastro’s in Malibu (I sense a beach theme). A family picture at home before we left.

We love the Shrimp Cocktail presentation with dry ice. It still didn’t entice Quinn to eat a shrimp. Our waiter was named Rob and reminded us so much of Boston Rob from Survivor. Shortly after this picture Rob cut his finger on a broken glass (not in front of us) and was off the ER. Quinn and Mae.

It was a great weekend and we had fun celebrating Mae on her special day!
