On Saturday we all piled in the car and went on the hunt for the perfect Christmas tree. We had heard of a place that sells fresh cut organic trees which sounded right up our alley. It started snowing on our way there so we were well on our way to a white Christmas 🙂
Don spotted the perfect tree immediately. Here\’s Quinn and Don keeping an eye on \”our\” tree.

You might remember Quinn\’s pal Kieran from Seattle. Kieran\’s mom, Jess, and I met as part of the 80\’s Ladies with Babies club. Here\’s a picture of the two guys pooped out after swimming lessons. They were about 9 months old.
I still keep in touch with Jess and she just sent me this video that Kieran\’s dad, Charlie, made for his 2nd birthday. Charlie is a very talented videographer so this video is really slick. Check it out! (you\’ll have to cut and paste the address because I can\’t seem to get it to link)

And yes, you could call us braggarts. Tonight Quinn was \”write paper\” as he calls writing with markers on paper. Don told him to draw a Q. And he did!! He drew a circle and added the little line for the Q, as you can see on the left. And then he took it upon himself to draw the sun (on the right). \”Sun!\”, he said.
I\’m not really sure what most 2 year old\’s are doing, but I\’m pretty amazed. Our little guy is so smart! (Although it is 12:25 am (yes, am) and he is still up. Not so smart.)
