The White House

For Quinn and I, Mondays are special.  We sleep in late and recover from a busy weekend.  Quinn watches tv in bed with his milk while I sort laundry and organize the house and our lives after the weekend.  I rarely plan anything for Monday just so we can go at our own pace.  On this Monday afternoon, Quinn watched trees being trimmed around the phone lines.  

We had plans to go to the pool and he was worried that we wouldn\’t be able to get out the driveway.  I told him that mama had super powers and I could drive on the grass.  He thought that was pretty funny.

I can\’t believe I\’m saying this, but I kinda like Mondays.

I\’ve learned an easy way to make these kind of storyboards so you will probably be seeing alot more of them.  If only I could get the color right 😉

Saturday was a bit of a bust of a day.  We gave it a good try but we all just wanted to go home and sit in the cool house.  These pictures are from a hot air balloon festival.  The highlight of the day was watching a juggler/magician do his thing.  I\’m not sure who enjoyed it more, Don or Quinn.
