The White House

We are enjoying a little Indian Summer in October with temps in the 80\’s.   It\’s the last taste of warm weather for the year and we are making the most of it.  Mae is here and we enjoyed a great day in NYC.  We had tickets for a river cruise of Manhattan and we had a couple of hours to burn so we checked out the Intrepid Aircraft Carrier which was right next to the cruise port.  We only had 2 hours but we could have spent alot more time there.

Quinn has really taken to a set of twins in his class.  One day the twins wore \’rock star\’ t-shirts to school and all Quinn could talk about was the three of them being rock stars.  This week we got the three rock stars together for a playdate at our house.  Quinn even wore his rock star t-shirt.  Fun was had by all!  And then they napped. Ha!  I wish.

We celebrated Quinn\’s 4th birthday with Grams on Sunday before she left to go home on Monday.

Quinn has been asking for a Remote Control Car for quite some time.  He even wanted to call papa at work one day to ask him to bring home a r/c car for him.  Today was his lucky day.  He was beyond excited.

He had school on Monday morning but woke up early enough to get in some play time with his cars before it was time to go to school.   I think Quinn would say it was a good start to his birthday week!
