The Regiment had their Banquet in January and it’s so fun to see all the kids back together again. They see each other all the time but there is something special when they are all in the same place at the same time.
Quinn got a nice award for his tuba solo work.
Happy 2024! We started off the New Year with a swamp tour. Because it was winter, the swamp was pretty brown and most of the animals were hibernation. But we did see some sleepy crocodiles and begging raccoons which are fed by the tour boats.
We have gained a new appreciation for jazz music since Quinn joined his high school jazz band so why not go to New Orleans and experience the roots of jazz. We went with the Conrath’s and stayed at a hotel on the outskirts of the French Quarter and had a little balcony overlooking the street.
