This year Quinn is in the schools top Jazz Band called Studio Jazz Ensemble. They were honored to have a jazz professor for USC come in for a clinic. Very Cool!

I entered my first Pickleball tournament with my PB friend Janel. We met in a beginners PB class about a year ago and have been playing together ever since. We didn’t do great in the tournament but we were happy we played. And I won the raffle for a new $300 pickleball paddle! Our shirt says Time to Dink Witches!

It’s official — Quinn has applied to 11 colleges. Now we wait.

One morning I was leaving the house early and I saw a turtle crossing our street. Don and Quinn rescued it and we posted signs all around our neighborhood and in our online neighborhood Facebook page but no one claimed it. It’s a box turtle which is not native to SoCal. Fortunately we found a turtle rescue group who picked it up and gave it a good home.
