We are slowly starting to look at colleges. We toured Tulane when we were in New Orleans in January. Next stop University of California San Diego. It’s a huge school with over 30,000 undergrad students. It is its own little city with a Target right on campus. But some of the dorms have ocean views and it’s only a 15 minute walk to the beach. Can’t go wrong with La Jolla/San Diego. And, it’s a very well respected school. We like that it’s close enough to make a weekend trip but far enough to give Quinn some space. It’s definitely in consideration.

Quinn’s pal Lex was in a summer production of the musical Mean Girls. She was funny and fabulous! We love seeing Lex perform and have really enjoyed the local productions.

Quinn participated in the Conejo Community Band again this summer. It’s an all volunteer group of all ages and they rehearse once a week over the summer. It goes year round but Quinn can only participate in the summer. He’s in the back middle of the photo.
