Tis the time of year for music and concerts. Last week Quinn had both his Lab Jazz and Wind Orchestra Concerts.

On Friday, the 3 school Concert Bands performed. Quinn’s group, Wind Orchestra, performed one classical tune (Symphony for Band by Perisechetti) and a couple of Holiday Tunes. In the first song, Quinn has a couple of tuba solos — the first one can be heard around 4:14 and is repeated several times in the song. Quinn said it was technically challenging to play. Rudolph can be found at 19:00 and Quinn’s favorite, Sleigh Ride, can be found at 28:00.

And for a little treat, the beginner band played Grinch accompanied by our good friend and also Booster President singing vocals. It was quite a surprise to us but his entire family is musically gifted. It’s quite a treat. Do yourself a big favor and skip directly to 14:20.
