Disneyland

Now that Quinn doesn’t want to trick-or-treat for Halloween, we are looking for new ways to celebrate Halloween. Our school district is smart and schedules a teachers professional development day with no school the day after Halloween.

So we went to Disneyland. We took Quinn, Nathan, and Ethan down the night before so we wouldn’t have to get up so early to get to Disney. Lisa and I escaped for a glass of wine when we arrived.

We took a relaxed approach to Disney and arrived around 10 am and took the tram to the park.

We set the boys up with the Disney app so they could schedule their rides and order food. We asked them to send us an occasional “proof of life” picture and then sent them on their way.

And then we went on our way. Lex’s mom, Liz, joined us for the day (Lex stayed home). The moms had some fun too….Star Wars Rise of the Resistance.

Some ‘proof of life’ pics we received throughout the day.

We had reservations for a nice, sit-down lunch. It was in the high 80’s so we enjoyed an hour or more of an AC lunch.

Last night was Halloween and overnight they changed all the decorations to Christmas!

The Ladies took an ice cream break and the boys surprised us!

A very fun, full day with lots of rides and over 20,000 steps walked. Now it’s time to head home.
