WHS Regiment had their first judged competition at Royal High School in Simi Valley. It was an extremely hot day but the team was able to park in shady spot.
The Truck Dads were out in full force in their orange shirts — they are hard to miss! The guys coordinated a pot luck lunch which was a huge hit! Don made and took Bacon Wrapped Dates.

The Uniform Team was looking good in our newly designed t-shirts. Amy’s daughter drew the image on the back. The Plume (feather) that goes in the Shako (hat) is very fragile and expensive and part of the Uniform Team job is to put the Plume in the Shako while wearing white gloves. Hence we are the White Glove Posse (WGP).

And the main event. Not in Kansas Anymore. (My camera work isn’t the best here.)
It was so hot the kids didn’t wear their jackets or shakos. In fact it was so hot that the kids shoes were falling apart as the glue holding them together was melting.
After they performed, they grabbed their lunch and retreated to the shade. The Booster Parents feel the Regiment 2 meals for each event. One before they get on the bus and one after they perform. The team has so much fun together and it’s great to be part of this community.

Ethan and Quinn and their trademark thumbs up!
