Father\’s Day Fun

We have a tradition of going to the pool on Father\’s Day.  Remember this one from Don\’s first father\’s day as a dad?  We loved that Greenlake Wading pool.  Oh, the cuteness!

And his second father\’s day…

Third.

And I guess I blew it on the Fourth.

Unfortunately on this Father\’s Day it wasn\’t warm enough for the pool so instead we headed \’down the shore\’.  First stop Surf Taco for some yummy fish tacos and then on to Jenkinsons for an afternoon of rides.

Dad\’s ride free!  I think this may have  been a gift for the moms.  So Don rode and rode and rode and rode.

I rode the train with Quinn.

Last stop was the big roller coaster.  Quinn loved it!

Father and son.  What a great day!

When we got home, this guy was in our front yard.

Role Model

Yesterday we received Quinn\’s \”Progress Summary\” from Sundance which is basically a pre-k report card.  Each of his primary teachers wrote a short personal summary about their year with Quinn.  One  that really stood out is from his Language Arts teacher:

A role model to his peers, Quinn made good choices in the classroom and was a kind and caring friend.

We couldn\’t ask for anything more.
