Long Beach Island is one of New Jersey\’s favorite beach spots. It\’s a barrier island similar to NC\’s Outer Banks with the ocean on one side and the bay on the other. Last night we walked from one side to the other for dinner. And a yummy dinner it was. We started with a dozen raw oysters and then I had NJ\’s own Barnegat Light scallops. So big and fresh.
We are looking forward to a full day on the beach today.
