Birthday Weekend: Saturday Morning

The birthday festivities started on Friday and continued in to Saturday.  You can see the family room decorated for Quinn\’s birthday.  The dozen plus balloons had started their quick descent but the room was still festive.  Saturday morning Quinn woke up ready to open his gifts.

You can see Papa doing some serious thinking while helping out Quinn.  Wow binoculars from Aunt Pam!  Quinn is a big fan of binoculars!

I got in the act too to help him open some gifts.  Here\’s his rocket cape from Grams.

We couldn\’t start off the day without some traditional apple pancakes for breakfast with a candle (ok, 2 years in a row).  Ready, set, blow!

We had alot of fun on Saturday, so this is just Part I of a great birthday day!

Birthday Weekend: Friday

We kicked off Quinn\’s Birthday Weekend with a small party with his little friends on Friday morning.  This year we kept it simple with cupcakes in a Cupcake Tree.

And we all sang Happy Birthday to the Mighty Quinn!

Quinn played with his little friends, including one of his best buds Milo.  It was so cute to see the two boys fighting over the trains.  Most of the older siblings were in school in the morning so it was just the little ones 🙂
We decorated the house with handmade paper rings and strings of 3\’s!

We were happy to have Grams here celebrating with us. As I was posting this picture from this year…

…it reminded me of a similar picture I had taken on Quinn\’s first birthday. What a chub-a-lub cutie he was (and still is)!

Happy Birthday Mighty Quinn!  What a great three years we have spent with you!  You continue to amaze and fascinate us each and every day.
